The Golden Ring Music & Folklore Center, in beautiful Manitowoc, Wisconsin is the oldest and largest folk music shop in the state.  We specialize in two areas, Music Books, stocking the largest selection in northeast Wisconsin - thousands of music books for Piano, Band, and orchestra featuring: Popular, Broadway, Disney, Jazz, Classical, Celtic, Classic Rock, Alternative, Country, Religious, Love and Wedding Songs and more. Our selection of Guitar books is legendary, probably the biggest selection in the state of all types of guitar books ranging from instruction and easy play to "off the Record" TAB arrangements of Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, Rock, Pop and Classic Rock, Alternative and everything in between.

Our other specialty is FOLK MUSIC and, of course, we have Wisconsin's best selection of books for Dulcimer, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, pennywhistle and more. We also have Wisconsin's finest selection of recorded folk music - you'll find lots of great rare and hard to find CDs in the Folk, Bluegrass, Old-time, Celtic and Blues fields as well as some hard to find classic jazz CDS,  rare and out of print record albums.
