PRICES - The Golden Ring is a small retail shop, prices on this website are not always what you'll see in the store. If you come to shop here, please mention the fact that you saw the website and we will charge you the special website price.
ORDERING BOOKS/RECORDINGS/SMALL GOODS:
If you see a book, or a recording, or anything else you would like to order from us --it’s easy! All you have to do is:
1. E-mail us to reserve your item. Most of these items are one- of-a- kind and we will confirm that this item is still available. We will respond to your e-mail with the total of your order (with shipping included as well as Wisconsin sales tax, if you are a Wisconsin resident). We will then hold your order for a maximum of ten (10) days awaiting payment. If you are coming to the shop to pick up any item notify us at least 3 days before you intend to come. A number of these items are stored off site.
2. Print and fill out the ORDER BLANK and send us payment. At this time we only accept personal checks ( so please DO NOT USE the credit card portion of the order blank) we then hold the order until the check clears and then ship your order to you. Sorry NO credit cards. IF you are ordering form OUTSIDE THE USA - See Below
PURCHASING AN INSTRUMENT - We feel the wisest way to purchase an instrument is to sit down and play it, compare it to others in the same price range in our showroom and make an educated purchase. Our instrument listing on this website is our extended catalog. Our main goal is for folks to see an instrument they want and come to the shop, see it, feel it, play it and fall in love with it. But, yes, we do ship and sell instruments all over the country, and if you do see something you want we will be more than happy to sell it to you. To purchase an instrument e-mail us to let us know you want it. We will e-mail you with price/shipping and if you're in Wisconsin, our 5% sales tax. We will hold the instrument for 7 business days for payment. For instrument purchases we accept only money orders or personal checks (shipments held until check clears). If you receive an instrument that you do not wish to keep, you must call or e-mail us within 24 hours of getting it and return it to us within 3 days of your notification. If we receive it within that timeframe in the exact condition it left here, we will refund your purchase price less a 15% restocking fee and shipping costs.

ORDERING FROM OUTSIDE THE USA
We have sold many of our treasures out of the USA, and we do ship records, compact discs, and books overseas - However, the cost of shipping/ handling/insurance is expensive - we will be happy to quote you the amount to your country. PAYMENT: Due to fluctuating dollar value and bank charges we will accept payment ONLY in American Dollars CASH ONLY! This has worked well particularly with a number of fine customers in Japan. Please send in registered mail. Due to problems in the past we will not accept payment in any other way from outside the USA.
