There are a number of items we are searching for, and we are willing to purchase them or trade for them. If you have something on our list, or similar, feel free to e-mail us. 1. Folk/Blues records. We are interested in near mint copies of 1950's and '60's copies of a number of record labels, such as Elektra, Prestige, Stinson, Washington, and similar labels, We are also interested in any radio program discs (Like the Oscar Brand Show) or "Off the wall" folk oddities. Since we are collecting the music, rather than the actual records, we are just as interested in good copies (on CDR, Minidisk, or Cassette) of out-of-print items as the actual vinyl. Some particular recordings we are looking for are:
2. Japanese CDS - Looking for Reissues of classic 50's -60's folk on "Coffeehouse Sounds" series and others - Erik Darling, Hedy West , etc. 3. Live Folk/Blues Recordings Looking for good quality concert/ Telecast / radio broadcast recordings (again on CDR, Minidisk, or Cassette) of 1950's, 60's and 70's vintage folk and acoustic blues artists as well as the city "Old Time" revivalists - particularly the 60's Cambridge and New York performers - Tom Rush, Eric Von Schmidt, Kweskin's Jugband, Mississippi John Hurt, Son House, Dave Van Ronk, Debbie Green, New Lost City Ramblers, Eric Anderson, Joan Baez, Charles River Valley Boys, Art Rosenbaum, Bob Gibson, Dylan, etc. etc. etc. 4. Folk Music magazines Hunting for Boston Broadside magazines, Sing Out Magazines 1963 and earlier, and what have you.
